Default Infusion Permanent?

Infusion is permanent and can't ever be taken off right? I mean, if you modify your infused armor with runes or insignia, then it will still be infused right? Thanks.

That is correct. Once a piece of armor is infused, it will always stay infused no matter what you do to it.

Of course you may want to do the infuse run again if you use multiple armour parts.
My necro did it a few times so I had spare infused head armour for different builds.

Also, after I bought the Elite armor sets and tried to help out guildies in the Fire Isle quests, I get quickly reminded that it was the non-elite armor set that I had infused. When you get new armor sets, remember to do the infusion run again.
